Acts 11: Highlights and Discussion

Highlights:

Acts 11:1-18: Peter explained his vision and visit to the gentiles and that the Gospel is for the gentiles too.

Acts 11:19-26: After Stephen's death, Christians were scattered and went as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, but only preaching to Jews after the dispersion. Some did speak to the Hellenists about Jesus and a great number believed! The church in Jerusalem sent Barnabas and Paul to Antioch and they were there for a year, assembling the church and teaching. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Acts 11:27-30: Agabus was showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout the world, relief was sent to the brethren in Judea.
